Comprehensive Course - $555

Take your dive training to the next level and build on the Express Course by experiencing a double boat dive and evening dive with your instructor.

· Course runs over 2½ weekends and includes a Wed evening briefing plus Night Dive and Double Boat Dive

Deluxe Course - $975
             ($1055 with flexible PADI eLearning)
The ultimate in learning to dive!  Experience all the comprehensive course has to offer, but complete your training with a weekend in spectacular Jervis Bay.  This onboard adventure will allow you to dive some of the richest waters in NSW with your instructor.

· Course runs over 3 weekends with a Wed evening knowledge review plus pool and ocean dives

· Final Weekend in Jervis Bay onboard Ocean Trek Dive Resort or on another Dive 2000 weekend getaway in NSW.

Personal Tuition - Price on Application
Due to time constraints or other factors, many people prefer a private scuba course which we cater for exclusively at Dive 2000.  This is also an option for travelers who wish to do the pool and knowledge section of their scuba training in Sydney before completing their certification at a holiday destination.  Talk to us in the shop for how we can meet your needs.

What do I need to start?

Virtually anyone who is more than 14 years old, in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 12 and 14 there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available.

You will need to get a dive medical done prior to starting the pool training sessions.  Click here for a List of Dive Doctors.

What’s Included?

· Your own PADI Crew Pack including, PADI Diving Manual and PADI RDP, logbook and PADI Wall Certificate.

· Use of full set of scuba diving equipment (assumes your own mask, snorkel and fins - additional $15).

· Knowledge Development sessions.

· Pool training dives in an indoor heated pool.

· Two days ocean diving: Four shore dives around Sydney.

· Air fills for all dives during the course.

· PADI Diving Certification Card and.

· Small Class sizes.

Course Schedule

Our typical course schedule is;

· Wednesday Evening 7pm-9pm - Knowledge Development (not required for PADI eLearning option)

· Weekend 1 (Sat 9am-5pm, Sun if needed) - Pool Dives & Skills (some Sunday time not required for PADI eLearning option)

· Weekend 2 (Sat & Sun 9am-5pm) - 4 Ocean dives at a great Sydney location

· Following Thursday Evening - Optional Graduation Drinks

Open Water Course Notes & Policies

· If you fail to complete your home study components prior to the in-water training stage of the course then the in-water training will be required to be postponed and a $100 fee will apply

· Once you have started your course, if you complete the course on different dates - $100 fee will apply

· If you change course dates within 7 days of commencement than a $100 fee applies
